Over the last ten years I’ve tried out so much makeup from places like Superdrug and Boots and today I’m going to write a list and share five of my favourite drugstore products with you. These items are makeup pieces that I love and would recommend to everyone. I’ve tried to keep the list £10.00 and under to keep things cost friendly! There’s nothing like picking up something for £3.00 that works just as well as one that costs £30.00.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – £4.19
An affordable concealer that is one of my all time favourites. It provides heavy coverage and conceals flaws in seconds. It’s a rich and creamy formula that lasts well on my skin and doesn’t crease throughout the day. It’s suitable for all skin types and is a must have if you have dark circles or blemishes that you want to cover. The only downside is there are only 4 shades to choose from. But for the price, it’s worth picking up a tube and seeing if you can blend it in to match your skin tone. It’s a product that is very popular in the blogging community and once you try it, you’ll see why.
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara – £10.99
So this product is 99p over the £10.00 limit but that extra 99p is worth it. You only have to take a quick look on the Boots website to see over 400 highly rated reviews. I’ve used this mascara for around 7 years and I always come back to it. It’s a dramatic mascara that adds lots of length to your lashes. It doesn’t smudge or flake and stays on all day long. It’s a mascara you need in your makeup bag.
Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks – £5.49
Rimmel has so many lipsticks and glosses to offer but their Kate Moss collab lipsticks are the ones I adore the most. The lipsticks are creamy and give brilliant colour pay off with only one single coat. The lipstick is exceptionally long lasting. I can wear this lipstick range for around 6 hours before needing a top up. There is a wide colour range to choose from so you are sure to find something that fits in with your style. I can’t fault these lipsticks, they are perfect for the price.
MUA Eyeshadows – Prices From £1.00
I have around 13 single pots of the MUA eyeshadows are they are ones I reach for on a daily basis. The best thing is the tiny price of £1.00. The eyeshadows from MUA are rich and pigmented and there is a huge selection of colours to choose from. You can also pick up eyeshadow palettes if you don’t like the idea of purchasing single pots.
The MUA eyeshadow palette in Heaven And Earth is a steal at £4.00. It contains 12 neutral shades which are perfect to create a variety of looks.
Barry M Nail Polish – Prices From £3.99
When it comes to nail polish, Barry M nails it each and every single time. They have every colour you can imagine and most of their polishes start from £3.99. Barry M offers highly pigmented colours that don’t chip as easily as others do that I’ve tried in the same price range. You can purchase a number of different styles from gel finish, to quick dry to incredibly matte. You won’t struggle for choice if you visit them!
